"Alshall Construction Company was the General Contractor for the Roseland Homes Elderly Housing Project, a 7.5 million dollar, 4 story structure with 112,000 square feet, owned by the Dallas Housing Authority, for which our firm was the structural engineer. The framing consisted of cold formed light gage metal trusses supported by light gage metal load bearing stud walls, not a very common structural system. Alshall not only executed the work with good workmanship and in a timely manner, but was extremely cooperative with the design team throughout the entire process.
I was pleasantly surprised to deal with a General Contractor that was not constantly finding excuses for delays or asking for unreasonable change orders. In fact, in many instances Alshall's construction managers furnished a lot of extra labor and materials at Alshall's own cost, simply to ensure that the structure was sound and safe. The project was finished on time and within budget, and the elderly residents are now enjoying a beautiful, well constructed facility."
